Norwegian Albanian Visar Avdyli (26) is charged with mortgage fraud. He was recently sentenced to seven months in prison for supporting foreign fighters in extremist group IS.
The 26-year-old is charged with aggravated fraud and was remanded in Oslo District Court Friday, writes Aftenposten. Police justified a petition he be held in jail for fear of destruction of evidence.
The Norwegian Albanian terrorist who was sentenced has not yet begun to serve the penalty for which was laid down by the Supreme Court last week. There he was sentenced to seven months imprisonment for having tried to send clothing, apparel and accessories to a brother who was later killed in Syria. The prison penalty is one month shorter than what Court of Appeal arrived at.
His 26-year-old lawyer, Kjell T. Dahl, declined to comment.
