519 children abducted from Norway and taken abroad

During the last  ten years  519 children  have been abducted from Norway and taken abroad.

According to VG  Norwegian authorities have from 2005 to the middle of 2015 assisted in 514 child abduction cases involving a total of 756 children.

519 children have been abducted from Norway and taken abroad while 237 have been abducted from abroad to Norway, the newspaper said referring to figures from the Ministry of Justice.

Three Norwegians were arrested Sunday in Cyprus and are suspected to have planned to abduct an almost three-year-old girl. The child’s father claims to TV2 that the child was abducted from Norway in November and brought out of the country.

Norwegian authorities have also been involved in the case. The child’s father has contacted both  the court and the government’s in order to secure  the returning of his daughter.
