At the end of last year, there were nearly 700,000 immigrants and 150,000 Norwegian-born to immigrant parents registered as resident in Norway. This corresponds to 16.3 percent of the population. In Oslo, the amount is 33 per cent.

Of the 850,000  380,000 people are from Asia and Africa, while 373,000 are from EU and European Economic Area and other western countries.
The number increased by 43,200 in 2015, according to latest figures from Statistics Norway (SSB). This corresponds to an increase of 5.3 percent. The population as a whole increased by 0.9 per cent in 2015.
Asylum seekers without a residence permit in Norway are not included in these figures.
Norwegian-born to immigrant parents with its 149,700 people constituted almost 3 percent of the population. Out of those, the largest group still is those with parents from Pakistan, totaling 16,500. Norwegian-born children of immigrants from Somalia constituted the second largest group with 11,800 people. Among these, almost half of preschool age, and nine out of ten are under 16 years old.
There are persons of immigrant background in all the country’s 428 municipalities, but the place with the largest number of people of that background by far is the capital. In total there were 163,300 immigrants and 50,900 Norwegian-born to immigrant parents in Oslo at the beginning of 2016. This group represents 33 percent of the population in the capital.

Unless they have some serious way to integrate into your society. GEt them out ASAP! The EU is a disaster and as of this writing we will see in about 2-3 months if the EU even survives in any meaningful sense. You’re not part of teh EU so do your own thing, but you have an amazing culture why trash it with immigrants that often despise your Western ways. Simply send them back to wherever they came from with a gift basket and a smile and hold your society together.

  2. And Norway don’t give job to deserving candidates like me. I am applying and applying – but no luck.
I don’t understand, Norwegian Government ready to spend Billions for those immigrants but not ready to give any chance to the people who ready to work there and pay the taxes.
