Justice Minister Anders Anundsen warned that Norway and the other Schengen countries may make the document controls stricter for everyone, including citizens of Schengen countries who cross the borders.

The Justice Ministers of the EU and Schengen countries, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland will be meeting on Thursday in Brussels to work on measures connected to the refugee situation.
– It is likely that the controls will become more stringent for Schengen citizens who cross the boundary. If  this is approved on Thursday, it will be in place very quickly,  Anundsen says to the newspaper VG.
This means that travelers returning from UK, USA, Russia and other countries outside Schengen may be stopped and inspected at the perimeter.
This measure will be addition to the exception rule of internal border controls that now is in effect in Norway on all arrivals by boat from abroad, and which was recently extended until 15 March.
