Both the two women who were arrested when police struck against massage parlors in Bergen on Tuesday are released.

The two women of 31 and 48 years are Norwegian citizens who have Thai origin.

– We find it necessary to remanding in custody them, said police attorney Asbjørn Onarheim from Western Police District to the newspaper Bergensavisen.

The police took actions against all 16 different addresses in the Bergen area Tuesday afternoon and evening. In total seven women and a man of Thai origin accused of pimping in the case.

– One has details which indicate that they are facilitators of prostitution and then pimping, either by obtaining property, register businesses, advertise, acquire customers or accept payment, said Onarheim Tuesday night.

The campaign was a collaboration between EXIT group of police, Immigration Section, Tax West, treasurer and Labor Inspection.
