In eastern areas and in the north, people can expect the sun much of the weekend, while in Trøndelag and in Western Norway it will be mostly wet. The whole country can, however, look forward to sunshine and higher temperatures during next week.
Eastern areas should expects rain Friday afternoon and early evening, but then the sun will be out increasingly through the weekend.
– Saturday will be have plenty of sunshine and over 20 degrees, said duty meteorologist Marit Helene Jensen at the Meteorological Department.
The nice weather will be for the benefit of, among others, those who find themselves at the festival, which ends Saturday evening.
Also on Sunday sunshine for the eastern area, and temperatures will be close to 18 degrees.
In Western Norway the sun will first be enjoyed on Sunday, for Friday and Saturday there will be a lot of rainfall and cool weather.
In Trøndelag it will also rain through the weekend, although the sun could come out occasionally. On Sunday afternoon however, it will clear up, and temperatures will rise towards 14 degrees.
In Nordland, Troms and Finnmark expect showers Friday, while Saturday and Sunday will be dry weather and partly sunny.
