Both the boy and the woman who were stabbed in Kristiansand on Monday, died of their injuries. Police are looking for the person or persons who were behind the stabbing.
Police been informed about the case at 16:10. The incident allegedly took place inside the property of Wilds Minne school, next to a small playground.
The first reports were that a woman and a child was stabbed, and that both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
– At 17:46, Agder Police confirmed that the woman died because of her injuries. Shortly after 18:00 police received notification that also the boy died, said operations manager Per Kristian Klausen from Agder Police district in a statement.
Police call for witnesses to find out what exactly happened, and ask them to contact police if they have information about the case. No one is arrested.
– We are working to identify the victims and then contact relatives. In parallel we are running a major police raid where we are looking for one or more perpetrators, says Klausen
