Cat food recalled due to iron levels

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Norway AS are withdrawing four different types of cat food after finding elevated iron content.

“Too much iron can cause digestive problems, including diarrhea and vomiting, and more serious health problems,” says the FDA in a statement.
The four products in question are:
* Science Plan Feline Adult Urinary Health & Hairball Control Chicken & with Ocean Fish Multipack
* Prescription Diet c / d Feline Urinary Stress Reduced Calorie with Chicken,
* Science Plan Sterilised Young Adult Cat Chicken and Salmon with Multipack, Science Plan
* Feline Young Adult Sterilised Cat Multipack (With Chicken, Salmon, Trout & Turkey.
The products are sold in 108 pet shops and animal clinics in Norway.
“If you have any of these products at home, do not give it to your cat. Take it back to the store, where you will get a full refund,” says the company.
