Crown Prince Haakon has completed the Armed Forces parachute course and this week he was approved as a military parachutist.
The course was held by the Armed Forces Special Command (FSK) and the Crown Prince was one of the participants. The Crown Prince received his authorization during a simple ceremony in Camp Rena onThursday night, said Castle.
The course consisted of a series of physical tests and training jumps in daytime and nighttime. The Crown Prince has passed all the standard requirements and is now certified as military tactical parachutist with an automatically activated round parachute.
