Crown Princess Mette-Marit canceling the official visit to New York planned originally planned for next week. According to doctors she is struggling with light pneumonia and reduced general condition, said the royal house.

It was NRK news that first reported the case. Both Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess were scheduled to attend the 50th Anniversary of the UNDP in the next week.

The Crown Prince, who has been goodwill ambassador for UNDP since 2003, will travel alone.
Crown Princess disease has been known since Thursday morning, when she came to the opening of a seminar in Folketeateret in Oslo.
