Crown Princess Mette-Marit will lead a panel discussion under Gunhild Stordalen’s annual EAT Conference in Stockholm in June.

The panel discussion will deal with a global status report on efforts to reduce malnutrition by 2030, newspaper VG reports. The report is presented under Eats annual conference, held in Stockholm in mid-June.
– The Global Nutrition Report aims to make it easier for governments and other stakeholders to make commitments that actually seems to put an end to malnutrition in all its forms. I am very pleased that Crown Princess Mette-Marit has agreed to lead the important panel discussion on malnutrition under EAT Stockholm Food Forum, says Stordalen in a statement.
Stordalen is planning according to the newspaper to attend the conference in June, despite the fact that in April it became known that she would have to undergo a new round of chemotherapy treatment for the fatal connective tissue disease, systemic scleroderma.
The EAT Conference brings together science, politics, and industry to find solutions for increased sustainability in food production and the world’s food systems, food security and healthy diet to a growing global population.
