A male cyclist in his 70s died this Monday in a crash with a tractor in Byneset, Trondheim.
‘We have very little information right now. We know that a cyclist crashed with a tractor and that it happened in a relatively complex turn’, says officer Ole Petter Hollingen of the Trøndelag police to NTB. According to the police, the man is in his 70s. He was out on a biking trip with his family.
The police reported the incident shortly before 14.00. All emergency services were directly sent to the place of the accident. 30 minutes after the police arrived, officials confirmed that the accident had fatal consequences. ‘We now have two patrols at the place of the accident and have important emergency work to do’, says officer Arnt Harald Aasland to the newspaper Adresseavisen.
