Danish airports reopened after threats

The airports at Roskilde and Aarhus is reopened after bomb threats were sent to several airports and shopping centers in Denmark on Monday.

The airports at Roskilde and Aarhus were closed and evacuated because of threats.

Police found nothing suspicious, and after a few hours the airports reopened.

In the evening, a 28 year old man in Slagelse was arrested in connection with bomb threats. Police describe him as an acquaintance who suffers from mental problems.

Also Kastrup Airport near Copenhagen was subjected to threats Monday. But police in the Danish capital did not need to take them seriously.

– There was emailed bomb threats to several places, and they come from the same sender. We reviewed them and are not taking them seriously, informed police in Copenhagen.
