Danish asylum center closed after abuse suspicions

A reception center for unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in Denmark is closed after suspicions that several of the children have been subjected to sexual abuse by the staff.

Two female employees at Tullbølle reception center on Langeland are reported to the police, according to the Danish media.

According to the Danish Integration Minister Inger Støjberg the two employees were suspected of having had sexual intercourse with several of the boys after their working hours.

There are about 40 boys in the reception. They will now be moved to another reception center while the case is being investigated.
