A man who has been accused of death threats and attempted murder of two police officers at a gas station at Roa Oppland last summer still denies his guilt.

The trial against the 32-year-old father of three from Chechnya started in Dublin District Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutors in Hedmark and Oppland have brought charges for a total of eight criminal offenses committed the night of June 26 last year, writes Police Forum.
After reading of the charges, the defendants denied guilt regarding having tried to kill two police officers as they tried to apprehend him.
Anonymous policemen
In the indictment it emerged that during transport to the Gurgaon police station later in the day, the defendant had said “if I am being put under arrest, I’ll kill” or likewise. Furthermore, he stated that he had been involved in two wars in Chechnya, had a large family and many friends, and that if the policeman who shot him were not shot in turn, there should be war.
The threats formed the basis for the two policemen in question remaining anonymous during their testimony in court. The accused 32-year-old did not acknowledged culpability for this and claimed he did not remember any threats.
He pleaded partially guilty of preventing police officers from doing their job in Roa and a burglary in Larvik where he got ahold of the gun he used to shoot at police on Roa.
