Police have seized two dogs in Troms after they attacked several lambs. Three lambs were killed outright and 15 were injured, nine of which had to be euthanized.
In Reisadalen in North Troms, police went out after receiving reports that dogs had attacked at a farm. Three lambs were found killed and nine had to be euthanized by a veterinarian, wrote the the newspaper VG.
‘A visitor was going into the barn when she discovered the bloody lambs. She also saw the dogs’, said operation leader Stine Svendsen.
Svendsen says that the dogs had escaped from their owner earlier in the day.
‘We are investigating the matter; it is up to the lawyer to decide what should happen to the dogs’, said Svendsen.
