Three masked men, dressed in black and armed with a knife, entered the residence of an elderly couple in Tonsberg, and robbed them.

The police were notified about the incident at approximately 23.00 on Friday night.
‘A neighbor came home from night duty and heard cries for help. A couple in their 70s explained that three masked, black-clad men had robbed them. The thieves spoke English among themselves’, said the operations manager, Kjetil Indahl, of South-East police to the news agency NTB.
‘The predators threatened the couple with a knife, and they were beaten. The couple were checked by paramedics on site, but were not seriously injured. Police searched during the night for the men responsible. It isn’t known how long they were in the residence. They ransacked the home, but I have not got details of what was taken’, said Indahl.
