Prime Minister Erna Solberg participated Monday at the opening of bieparken project in Oslo. The purpose is to get disadvantaged into working life.

Erna was allowed to try herself as a beekeeper when the biepark opened Monday morning. During the opening speech, Solberg said that there are many reasons why people are out of work, but the one thing they all have in common: they can participate as long as they want to.

“In order to succeed in an inclusive working life, we need courageous employers who see the opportunity, and not prevent,” said Solberg during the opening speech.

The park is a project under Job34, which is a job offer for people with disabilities and others who somehow end up out of work.

At Project 34, everyone is encouraged to apply for work, regardless of age, disability, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation.
