Prime Minister Erna Solberg is visiting Bratislava on Tuesday in order to have political talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

The occasion for the visit is that Slovakia now has taken over the EU presidency.

Slovakia therefore plays an important role in helping the EU through the first stage after the referendum in Britain where a majority voted to leave the EU.

EU leaders are already well underway with informal talks on the way forward, and the brexit will also be an important topic in talks between Fico and Solberg.

In addition, it is expected that the two will talk about migration.
Solberg will also visit Tomra’s production and distribution facilities in Senec and a shelter for women in Petrzalka which has received financial support through the EEA grants.
