Erna visits Sri Lanka

Prime Minister Erna Solberg meets both President Maithripala Sirisena and opposition leader Rajavarothiam Sampanthan during a visit to Sri Lanka.

According to Prime Minister’s Office, the purpose of the meetings on Friday and Saturday is to consolidate the good relations between Sri Lanka and Norway, and provide support to the current government’s reform and reconciliation oriented policies.

Solberg is on private visit to Sri Lanka, but she will also hold a lecture on UN sustainability goals by Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute.
