NPRA have had enough of people cheating on the theory test people have to pass in order to get a driving license and  because of they will employ invigilators at traffic stations in Western Norway.

– The increased problem with cheating on the theory test means that the Public Road Service has to take steps that can prevent this. One of the measures is that at any given time shall be a invigilators in the room during the theory test. This has been the practice on the larger traffic stations and we will now also apply this arrangement to   smaller places, ” Department director Jan Tore Odd in the West Region said. The consequence of introducing their own invigilators is that employees have to be reprioritized from other tasks, while at the same time many other tasks performed by the employees, will be shielded.  -To manage this, we need to reduce the  number of drop-in-theory tests offered,  Odd says. For many years people have had the opportunity to take a drop-in theory test at all the days of the week, but the number of days  where people will be allowed to this will now be reduced.
