The Government is creating an action plan for diet and nutrition and will hold a conference in Stavanger on 15 March dealing with the different aspects of the plan.
The Action Plan will include specific measures to promote healthy eating for the whole population, and will be a collaboration between the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Industry and Fisheries Ministry.
Health Minister Bent Høie, Agriculture and Food Minister Jon Georg Dale and Fisheries Minister Per Sandberg, Gunhild Stordalen from EAT and author and food writer Andreas Viestad will all be contributing at the conference.
Among the topics are “Why do we eat the food we eat? ‘,’ Food and meal innovation for all”, ” The joy of the meal and healthy food” and how to promote health through the joy of the meal.
