Police took up pursuit when a car refused to stop for inspection at Skoppum in Vestfold. One of the three men in the car was on the run from prison.

The car chase crossed inner Vestfold, writes newspaper Tønsberg Blad.
The chase was interrupted at one point because the speeding car drove into a close-knit area. But the car was found again shortly, and finally landed in a ditch after approaching a police car that had blocked the road.
No one was seriously injured in the collision, which happened around at 12:15 on Thursday.
Police Superintendent Jan Frode Johannessen, who heads the investigation section in Horten, says one of the men in the car was on the run from prison.
“He served in an open institution with treatment and had run off the day before,” he says.
The man will now be transferred to closed imprisonment. The car the three were driving was stolen in Oslo. The car also contained drugs and suspected stolen goods.
