Four Lithuanian men are charged with severe body tampering or complicity in this, after a man in his 20s was found dead in Lanke Stjordal Nord-Trondelag Friday night.
The deceased is probably also from Lithuania, but police have not identified the man with certainty.
– Efforts are being made to clarify the identity and notify relatives, said police attorney Anita Ravlo Sand of Trøndelag Police at a press conference Saturday.
– I can confirm that a man was found dead at the scene. Preliminary research suggests that the accused carried out violent acts on the deceased, said police prosecutor.
The deceased will be autopsied later Saturday and police may say more about the cause of death when they receive the preliminary autopsy report.
Staying at the farm
4:30 police received notice of a wounded person in Lanke Stjordal. When police arrived at the place were the person died. In the interests of the investigation the police will not go further into details about the crime scene or what the police found when they arrived at the scene.
Because of information given to the police and other circumstances, the case was investigated as a suspicious death.
Acting chief investigator Tore Sparby, confirms that one of the accused lives on the farm where the incident took place.
