Four out of ten believe in the Devil. Just as many believe that you can become obsessed with him, a new study shows.

The survey was conducted by InFact on behalf of VG. It also shows that one in ten Norwegians believe they know someone who was actually possessed.
– It amazes me that so many people believe in the Devil. But most people who have a few years on the clock have probably experienced or met something or someone who wants to hurt them. Ten percent believe they know someone who has been possessed. I doubt if the figures are as high, but I cannot exclude that it is correct, said Oslo’s Catholic bishop, Bernt Eidsvig.
The bishop confirms that exorcism is performed in Norway.
