Great danger of avalanches in Hordaland and Rogaland

There  is great danger of avalanches  both in Rogaland and Hordaland Sunday, according to forecasts The risk ratio is at level four and  Røldal in Odda municipality  Is particularly   vulnerable

– Expect heavy rains and mild weather Sunday. That’s why the  degree of risk is so great, shift leader at avalanche warning Emma Barfod says.

The forecast  in general  applies to the entire mountain in both counties. The avalanche danger will be greatest where there is most precipitation.

At the height of 1,000 meters large jib snow is expected, while thelower terrain below 1,000 meters   it expected to get more naturally triggered  wet avalanches.
