Hotel strike stepped up on Monday

105 of the members of  the United Federation working at the Hotel  Norway in Bergen will go on strike on Monday.

 The United Federation has notified the escalation in Hotel strike this week.  On Monday  105 members working at the Hotel Norge in Bergen Norway will go on strike, and the strike will be stepped up further with 269 members going on strike on Friday 13. may.
  The strike was also stepped up at the weekend, with 925 members from the counties of Aust-Agder, Vest-Agder, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, Oppland, Telemark going on strike.
About 7,000 employees at 760 hotels and restaurants are now on strike. The reason for the strike is disagreements about the local negotiation right and increases in salaries for low-paid workers.
