Kerry: – I want to thank Norway for their efforts towards helping the rest of the world

US Secretary of State John Kerry expressed his gratitude to Norway during the peace conference at Oslo Forum.

During his speech at the peace conference held today at Losby Gods in Lørenskog, Secretary of State John Kerry said  ‘’ I want to begin by thanking Børge for a warm welcome. I also want to thank Norway for their incredible and continuous efforts they have made to resolve conflicts. There is no single person here today, who is short of a huge gratitude for what Norway is doing to help the rest of the world’’

Kerry also took the opportunity to thank all supporting statements being released in recent days in connection with the massacre in Orlando on Sunday night.

‘’ It is needless to say that this type of event happening with a disturbing frequency. This shall not be a new normal, and it must stop’’, added Kerry about mass shootings.

US Secretary of State John F. Kerry stays visiting Norway Wednesday and Thursday. Among others participating at Oslo forum are EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Iranian Foreign Minister Jayad Zarif.
