King and Queen on state visit to Italy in spring

The King and Queen will be meeting both Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Norwegian designers when they go on a state visit to Italy in April.
The visit starts in Rome on 6 April and will end in Milan two days later. The first item on the agenda is a visit to the Presidential Palace where they will be welcomed  by President Sergio Mattarella. The King and Queen are to have an official conversation and lunch with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, meet Senate President Pietro Grasso and the President of the National Assembly, Laura Boldrini. The day ends with a state banquet hosted by President Mattarella .
On Thursday the activities of the royal couple will include adding a wreath to the grave of the Unknown Soldier. That afternoon the royal couple will travel on to Milan, where they together with Petroleum and Energy Tord Lien will attend an Italian-Norwegian energy seminar on the green shift.
In Milan, the royal couple will meet Norwegian designers studying at Bocconi University. They will also be present at an event where Norwegian entrepreneurs  are to present themselves to Italian investors and businesses.
