More KrF-ers have left the party in protest after Knut Arild Hareide announced his decision as the first Christian Democratic Party leader to participate in the parade during the Oslo Pride.

– I cannot expect everyone to agree with everything I do or say as party leader, said by Hareide to NRK.
After that NRK reported more party members are leaving in the last day and justified their membership based on Hareide’s choice.

– I am not aware on how many people have signed up in or out because of my participation in the parade but we might talk about a handful of resignations, said by Christian Democratic Party leader.
Hareide got most praise on his public Facebook page for his decision but also get plenty of dislikes. “Bummer”, “Dear, do not participate” and “Unworthy” were among the feedback after KrF leader wants to show support for the fight against discrimination, violence and harassment of gays.

– This year is important for me to show my support for LGBTI community in Norway after the tragedy in Orlando, said by Hareide.
Oslo Pride started on June 17 and lasts until June 26th. Solidarity is the theme for this year’s parade.
