Sylvi Listhaug will create special integration reception centers for selected refugees.
There they will get started quickly with tuition, and those who fail the requirements will lose their place.
This is one of the measures that will be presented on Wednesday as part of the Integration White paper, the Immigration and Integration minister told NRK news.
We will create four to five integration reception centers which start much earlier with language tuition and work practices. Candidates will enter into a contract which will set clear requirements for the individual about expectations, says Listhaug (FRP).
Each special reception center will have around 500 places. They will house refugees who have a high probability of obtaining a residence permit.
Residents will get an individual contract, and an assessment will be made of the expertise and resources of each individual.
– If you are not motivated or eager, you will lose your place at the center and it will go to someone who is motivated. Here you will have to show proper requirements and commitments from day one, says Listhaug.
She also announced a reward and incentive scheme to encourage the refugees. It may involve tests at different levels and one can get a small amount of money when passing.
The government will allocate around 5 million for the new integration centers .
