Man (41) charged with defrauded fraud

A 41 year old man living in Ski in Akershus is charged with having defrauded unemployment benefits from Nav of nearly 430,000 kroner.

According to the charges, the 41-year-old   have in the period July 2011 to December 2012 sent electronic notification cards to Nav where he refrained from bringing up the correct number of hours he worked. In the same period he also is stated to have stayed abroad for an extended period of time at two separate occasions, without disclosing this.
According to the indictment, this meant the man received 427,960 kroner more in benefits than he should.
The trial starts in Oslo District Court on Friday 1 April.
