Man has been charged in court because of threatening his own son

A 34 years old man from Afghanistan on Thursday had a meeting in Oslo District Court on charges of serious threats to his own son.

Per indictment his son been called last November and the father told him that he had returned to Norway to pick up him and two of his younger siblings.

He asked his son to fetch his siblings and meet him.

When the son was opposed, his father threatened him to kill his mother in the family and kill the children if they won’t come back with him to Afghanistan, according to the indictment.

34 years old is also accused of violating the Immigration Act. According to the indictment, he returned to Norway in spite of that he was expelled for good in April last year.

The man been sentence to go to jail for up to one year for prosecution point of threats.

The penalty may however be increased as a result of prosecution point in breaches of the Immigration Act, which carries a maximum sentence of up to two years in prison.
