Man charged with murder and defiling in Ålgård
A 29-year-old man is accused of killing a 26-year-old man in a care home in Ålgård in Rogaland last August.
The man is also charged with defiling the corpse after the murder, reports NRK.
The 26-year-old man was found dead in a care home for people with substance abuse problems and psychiatric disorders in August last year.
The accused has acknowledged the facts of the case, but denies culpability. He believes he was not criminally sane when the murder occurred, states prosecutor Arvid Malde to NRK.
The trial will probably come up before the court in August or September. A 21-year-old woman was charged with complicity in the same case, but the charges against her was dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence.
