A 27 year old man in Oslo District Court has been sentenced to four years in prison for raping a woman at a Burger King restaurant in Oslo last September.
According to the indictment, the assault happened in the women’s restroom at the Burger King on Karl Johans gate in Oslo around midnight on Sunday, 27th of September.
The man did not acknowledge guilt when the case came up in court in September last year. He explained that he did not remember what had happened, but that it would be ‘a disaster’ if he had done it. The man turned himself in when he realized that the police were looking for him.
He has now been sentenced to four years in prison for rape, according to Dagbladet. He has also been ordered to pay 150,000 kroner to the woman.
