A Lithuanian man is sentenced to ten years in prison and confiscation of 3.5 million NOK in an extensive drug case in Troms and Finnmark.

The 35 years old should have been responsible for the sale of 13.4 kg amphetamine and storage of 25 kg hashish in Troms and Finnmark for several years, NRK reported.

Two other people are sentenced to prison terms of four years and six months to seven years in prison for having bought several kilograms of amphetamines and marijuana over several years from the main defendant, it has been decided by the judgment of Nord-Troms District Court.

Two Norwegian men 52 and 28 years are also condemned to the confiscation of a total of 1.5 million NOK.

A 47 years old woman from West Finnmark is sentenced to 176 hours of community service for handling the money from drug sales. She did not play a central key role into this case.

A fifth person, a 42 years old man from Oslo, was acquitted by the court. The ref is not proven beyond reasonable doubt that the man had been guilty of complicity to store drugs.

Prosecutors also laid the claim that the defendant should be judged by the rule of organized crime, but this was not proved in the court.
