A 22 year old man has been sentenced to six months in prison by the Oslo District Court for, among other things threatening to kidnap the royal children and threatening Prime Minister Erna Solberg .
30 days of the sentence are suspended, Aftenposten writes.
The man was convicted of making threats of a criminal offense, and the court ruled that the threats were of the kind that were likely to cause fear. The threats made by the man in letters and emails to the castle the man included kidnapping the royal children.
The man also sent a letter to Parliament, an inquiry which was addressed to Prime Minister Erna Solberg. The letter was a syringe containing a liquid starch product.
In addition to his threats to the royal family and the prime minister’s 22-year-old convicted of having made threats against two people. In a letter to the Immigration unit of the Police he also threatened to bomb Norway.
The 22-year-old has been in custody since late March. The court therefore considers the part of the sentence that was not suspended to have expired.
