A man in his 40s died on Monday after he was kicked by a horse on a farm in Skien on Saturday.
The man was taken to the Oslo University Hospital and was pronounced dead there shortly before midnight on Monday, Varden writes.
Head of investigations, Kristian Myhra, told the newspaper that the police assume the incident was as a mere accident, and will base their investigations on this assumption.
A post-mortem will be performed on the deceased as a matter of routine.
– It may take a long time before we get the results of the autopsy, said Myhra.
He does not want to go out with further information about the incident yet.
According to the police, the man lived on the farm.
