A man in his 40s who had been to a party on Sunday morning found dead in a river in Norheimsund in Hordaland. – a tragic accident, police said.
– He has been at a birthday celebration on Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Sunday morning, he was found next to a river, said operations manager Frode Kolltveit from West police district to news agency NTB.
The police were notified just before 8:30 am and there is nothing to suggest any criminal offenses surrounding the incident.
– There are no indications. Everything indicates that this is a tragic accident, says Kolltveit.
The next of kin have been notified and are taken care of health care. Police have created matter and spoke with witnesses and friends of the man, which is sent for autopsy.
