Man sentenced to 12 years in prison for online abuse

A 43 years old man from Haugesund is sentenced to 12 years in prison for having committed offenses against four girls under 16 years old over the internet.

The man, who is married and has children, is convicted of having threatened the girls to commit sexual acts that were filmed and sent to him.

One of the girls was 14 years old, while the other three were between 14 and 16 years old when the abuse occurred, NRK news.

The 43 years old man admitted guilt for all the records about online abuse at the trial in Haugaland District Court.

One point where he will have committed an actual sexual act against a girl under 16 years he denied guilt, but the court found him guilty also on this point.

The offender shall be extensively have used threats to get children to perform rough sexual acts on themselves or others.

Many of the threats are taken into judgment and says that he would have someone to consult them if they did as he requested.

– The defendant has also the court’s view clearly opted out very vulnerable children. This must be the Court’s opinion emphasized heavily in aggravating circumstance, writes Judge Helga Hågenvik in judgment.

Besides the penalty of 12 years in prison, the man must also pay three of the girls NOK 200,000 in restitution damages. The fourth girl will receive compensation of 50,000 kroner.
