Man suspected of threatening a car in Oslo has been arrested

A man who threatened a person knife and drove off in his car in Oslo on Tuesday afternoon was arrested later in the evening.

 

‘’The suspect was arrested by a patrol from the Eastern Police District on the E18 at Holstad. He was taken to Oslo, the Oslo Police District announced late on Tuesday night.

According to police information, the robber used a knife when he threatened to offend against the Volvo V70 owner in Platous Street and drove off. Shocked, the owner escaped unharmed from the incident.

The police spoke with witnesses and started searching for the Volvo.The perpetrator was black, he had full beard, and was wearing a ‘rasta hat’ of different colours.
