Five people were sent to the emergency room and hospital after there was a mass brawl in the aftermath of a cricket match between the eight reception centers in Saltdal Sunday night.

Around 50 people were involved in the brawl, newspaper VG reported.

– There was a disagreement about the results, which led to the attack with blow guns, cricket bats, sticks and shovels. It ended up with five injured, three of which were transported by emergency services and two by air ambulance to the hospital in Bodø, said operations manager Jon Inge Moen in Salten Police District. The injured have received fractures and head injuries.

Police have created an investigation, but say no one has been arrested so far. They need to understand the situation first.
