The Russian intelligence service FSB claims to have stopped two groups of migrants who were heading for Norway by sea
The migrants from Iran, Syria, Egypt and Bangladesh were to be brought to Norway by human traffickers, according to  Konstantin Poladajev spokesman in FSB’s border guard service.
– They were met in Murmansk  by so-called “Russian friends” who promised to bring them  to Norway by sea for sums between 2,000 and $ 6,000 (17,000 and 50,000 kroner at the current price, editor.),  Poladajev says to the regional television channel GTRK Murman .
With the arrests and subsequent sentences in a court in Murmansk  Russian authorities  are sending a clear message to other migrants who will try to get into  Norway illegally,  The Independent Barents Observer writes.
The migrants were fined about 250 kroner each and will be deported from Russia.
