NASA’s space probe, ‘Parker’, is now heading for the sun after a successful launch from Florida on Saturday night.

During the seven-year mission, the probe will gather information about the sun’s atmosphere.

The launch at Cape Canaveral in Florida should actually have taken place on Friday night local time, but was postponed one day until 03.31 on Saturday night (09.31 Norwegian time).
