The National Library will dedicate NOK 22.5 million for library development

The National Library will give NOK 22.5 million as funds for development and arrangement of libraries in 2017.

– The funds will provide public libraries with the opportunity to develop themselves as promoters, mediation institutions and arenas for debate and learning, said by Svein Arne Tinnesand , director of the National Library.
The funds were announced in association with the National Library Strategy for 2015-2018. All public libraries can apply for funds on smaller reconstruction were sizes that will facilitate the premises for new activity.
In 2016 the National Library will distributeNOK 22.5 million . Additional funds for 2017 will be announced in January next year.
