We should be a bit cautious to say anything substantial, but it seems as if the worst is over in terms of unemployment, says John Sørbø, senior adviser at NAV, to the newspaper VG.
It is the first time Finn.no has seen a growth in the job market since 2012. They see both geographic differences and the types of jobs that are advertised.

– It is still tough in Western Norway, but there is otherwise good growth in large parts of the country. Particularly strong is the growth within building and construction. In healthcare there is also growth in the number of jobs, says job analyst and product manager of Finn.no, Fredrik Schjold to the newspaper.

With continued falling oil investments and slow economic growth, expectations are that unemployment will increase somewhat during the year. NHO’s Federation of Norwegian Industries believes that unemployment will not turn until at least 2017.
