Brexit, NATO and Russia are among the themes on the agenda when Prime Minister Erna Solberg visits with Theresa May this Tuesday.

May is coming to Oslo to attend the Northern Future Forum, a collaboration forum where the British Prime Minister meets colleagues from Nordic and Baltic countries to discuss common challenges.

The forum itself is actually focusing on health technology. The state ministers will meet experts to hear more about what it means for health care now that the population is getting older.

But Erna Solberg also has a separate bilateral meeting with Theresa May during the visit, where Brexit is the main conversation, according to the NTB.

Norway wishes to reflect upon the agreements the United Kingdom has in place with the EU, among other things to ensure the rights of Norwegians in Britain and the British in Norway. At the same time, a new agreement must be in place to regulate trade between Norway and the United Kingdom after the EU divorce.

Brexit was also the theme when Solberg visited May in London this past June.

The other primary point when they meet on Tuesday is security and their defense policy. Solberg and May will discuss, among other things, cooperation with NATO and relationships with Russia.
