The police and the fire department were called out to another car fire in Oslo on Sunday night. The police believe the car had been set alight deliberately.

To NRK news, operations manager Gjermund Stokkli of Oslo police district announced that they moved to Refstad Allé at 04.30, and that the fire was quickly extinguished. According to the police, there had also been a fire in two rubbish bins nearby.

On Saturday night, four cars burned in a residential area at Godlia in Oslo. The cars were totally destroyed, and there was a danger that the fire would spread to houses.

The police feel confident that the cars were set alight, as so many cars started to burn at the same time. Just after the incident at Godlia, the police searched for perpetrators in the area with helicopters, and many units, but without result.
