New polls show Trump leading

Donald Trump has secured a narrow edge on Hillary Clinton, according to two recent polls.

Republican presidential candidate gets 45 percent support in a nationwide measurement ORC conducted for CNN, compared to 43 percent for Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.

Clinton has so far in the campaign had a head start on Trump, and right after the Democrats’ national convention her lead was up to 8 percentage points.
CNN poll shows that the two presidential candidates obtains support in widely different groups of voters.

Women and men

Clinton gets support from 53 percent of female voters, against 38 percent for Trump. However, 54 percent of male voters support Trump, while 32 percent supported Clinton.

Among voters younger than 45, you get 54 percent support for Clinton, compared with 29 percent for Trump. Among non-white voters Clinton nearly gets four times as high attendance as Trump, shows the CNN poll, which has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
