No one arrested yet after robbery of the grocery store in Halden

It is still ongoing search for the man who used the gun during a robbery of a Prix store in Halden Thursday morning.

– No one has been arrested yet but they are searching the area. The investigation continues into the evening, said operations manager Ingar Signebøen from Eastern Police district to news agency NTB at 18 o’clock.

No shots were fired during the robbery which was occurred just before 11 o’clock Thursday, but the robber threatened staff with the weapon. No one was physically injured, police said.

The robber is described as about 180 centimeters’ tall man wearing black hat or cap with black clothes and a black and white scarf. Police said the man had a scarf in front of his face.

Store management can easily see which values the man took but do not want to go out with the amount, informs Signebøen.
